Our anniversary day

DH and i took today off of work and didn't have much planned besides dinner, so we just flew by the seat of our pants. He woke up early and then i followed suit a few hours later. We had breakfast in bed, ie; we took our bowls of cereal back in to bed with us. Then we lazed around, decided to go see an early movie and then headed out. We saw the movie Bright Star and it was really good! Then had lunch at Riviera Cafe in the West Village then home for a nap. First we did presents, even though my present from DH hadn't come in the mail yet. DH loved his silhouette cutting that i framed with a copy of my vows! DH told me that he got me tickets to a performance of American Ballet Theater on Oct 10th!  Yayayayayayayayay! After our nap, we got up and got ready for our anniversary dinner at One if By Land. It was really good and quite romantic! A couple a few tables over got engaged while we were there and i couldn't stop stealing peeks at them! Our dessert plates came with candles and they wrote Happy Anniversary in chocolate sauce (i said it was our anniversary when i did the online reservation).

Now we're home and watching the season premiere of Lie to Me. All in all it was a really good day.
