To be a bronze poster around here? I can't believe I have over 8,000 posts (on the old format) and yet they don't count around here. Just one more way for the nest to screw with our heads, isn't it?

500 posts gets you bronze. i think it took jeanette 2K posts to get silver....
and i think its over 7k pionts to get a blue ice cube..... but that changes and gets annoying...

I think the nest gods do these format changes just to keep getting us to post in the hopes that we get nesticles and silver status. I wonder what the next big "nest prize" for posting will be....

I was going to play into their hands and then just decided that it's not worth it to get a status. They can call me whatever they want. I was on theknot in 2003, and thenest since 2006. So, call me a Newbie - whatevs!
I didn't know you lived in New Castle. How'd I miss that? I thought you lived in Bedford or thereabouts!
I wish I lived in New Castle (maybe someday when the hubs retires), but for now we do live in Bedford. For some reason New Castle got stuck in there because that is where we got married. I must have screwed up when I entered my info (being the computer genius that I am).
I totally get sucked into all the nestie status symbols. I am working very hard on getting my first nesticle. I only have about 2,000 posts to go! Whoo hoo. Of course right when I get to about 100 posts shy of my nesticle, I am sure the nest gods will change the rules on me.

Someone told me that there are other boards - like anniversary boards, the Mexico board, etc that are dead and you can up your post count. I just decided it wasn't worth doing that (for me) and that I'd rather take that time to read what others are posting.
I have over 7000 points and no ice cube. Hmmph!!
I once accidentally clicked on the Montana board at work (it's right above NH) and that BrownLatinMami chick had a post that she made and just typed OMG and posted the same thing like 300 times. No wonder she is always a top poster. I don't have the time for that.
