Hey- how's your mini training going?
I'm trying to motivate myself to get back on track with this but haven't got very far yet.

Hey there! I am so sosrry it took me so long to get back... its been a busy week... ahh... mini training. I just posted in LJ about it... its been okay. I am trying to walk 5 - 6 days a week and continuing to build a base before I start the couch to 5k program since I am SOO out of shape. Problem is I have had something going on every night it seems so I have been averageing about 3- 4 times a week. After this week things slow down considerably and I am going to take my walking shoes with me to work so I can sneak in some on breaks/lunch. I have signed up for the Race for the Cure 5k Run/walk in Terre Haute in October (the one I usually do with my mom so it feels comfortable and friendly) and am hoping to jog the 5k and then two weeks after that I have signed up for the Indinapolis Marathon 5k run/walk with the intention of improving my time.I am also planning to go ahead and sign up for the Mini Practice Events.... so long story short, my schedule is keeping me pretty busy but I am sneaking in work outs when I can and once I get a good base I am going to work on starting couch to 5k to improve my fitness and help me maybe run bits and pieces to keep me at my 18 minute pace for the mini :-) If you ever want to walk together let me know. I alternate between my apartment, the canal (when I have class), and the office gym
