5. DOUBLE BONUS QUESTION: What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid? Gypsy I think? I can't remember anything really clever. I ran the gamut of princess, clown, witch, etc.
1. Are you going to dress up for Halloween? nope, haven't in years.
2. Do you get trick-or-treaters in your neighborhood? it's our first halloween in this godforsaken apartment, so we'll see. my guess is yes, as there are a lot of kids around.
3. Any plans/parties? nothing aside from wishing we could go to disneyland for their trick-or-treat party.
4. BONUS QUESTION: If you have a LO, what are you dressing up him/her as? the bean is going to be minnie mouse, and the teen is strongly considering doing the same. it'd be so freaking cute.

DOUBLE BONUS QUESTION: What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid? when i was about 5, my grandma made me a flower costume. i had a huge headdress that formed petals all around my head, and i wore a dark green leotard and tights with a wraparound skirt in the same color that looked like leaves. i loved that costume and won $25 in a contest
1. Probably not as we don't have plans for any parties.
2. Don't know, we go to the ILs house and take the kids.
3. This year just taking the LO and her cousins trick-or-treating. We had a party last year and our friends want us to throw one again, but since we all have kids we have to do the trick or treating. Plus my daughter's bday is Oct 30th, so we have several years of Halloween parties to come.
4. She will be a cheerleader. (My H coaches HS football, so we bought it for football season as well.)

5. DOUBLE BONUS QUESTION: What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid? My mom was very anti Halloween so I never was enthusiastic about the whole thing. My favorite costume of dd's was last year when she was Daphne from Scooby Doo.

5. DOUBLE BONUS QUESTION: What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid? Toss up between a clown costume my Mom and Grandma sewed and a Raggedy Andy one that was super cute. A red yarn wig and blue satin pants. (When I was little I loved Raggedy Ann and Andy)
2. Do you get trick-or-treaters in your neighborhood? Very few. It's a bummer because I love passing out candy and seeing all the cool costumes.
3. Any plans/parties? Friends are coming over with their kids and we're either taking them Trick or treating or the boys will take them.

5. DOUBLE BONUS QUESTION: What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid? This might sound funny to some considering what I do, but I absolutely LOVED my Bride costume when I was 7. My mom said I never wanted to take the wedding dress and veil off.

3. Any plans/parties? My BDay is on the 26th so I might have a BDay/Halloween party. Not sure if I'm up for the work of planning a party.
4. BONUS QUESTION: If you have a LO, what are you dressing up him/her as? I have two dogs that I will be dressing up. They will both be Hot Dogs this year. Last year one was a princess and the other was Dracula.
5. DOUBLE BONUS QUESTION: What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid? I had a ton of Halloween parties growing up and by far my favorite is when I was a zebra.
1. Are you going to dress up for Halloween? No, I haven't in years and don't really care.
2. Do you get trick-or-treaters in your neighborhood? I do'nt know-first year here. There are kids around but I am hoping they go somewhere else. I find it kind of annoying to answer the door repeatedly and the doorbell freaks out my cat. I know DH would prefer to not participate as well. I just don't care about Halloween. I just checked and it's on a Saturday so we will probably be gone when they would come.

5. DOUBLE BONUS QUESTION: What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid? I really don't remember my costumes. I think I was a princess and I think I looked cute in it. I have never really put any thought into costumes. I sound like the Halloween Scrooge.
1. Nope, I'm not a fan of costumes.
2. Yes, tons. I think the fact that we live on a cul de sac really influences this.
3. Yes, we always go to friends of ours for an early dinner and to see all the kiddos dressed up in their costumes. Then we will do a little trick or treating with the baby since it's her first Halloween, and will come home to pass out candy.
4. Yes, she is going to be a bumblee! Just tried her costume on her, and I love it! See below.

my mom made me an M&M costume - we had puffy-painted "M&M" and yet some lady asked if I was a tomato.
I took sewing lessons a few years ago and made a kickass bunny costume - I would totally wear it again if a) I could fit into it and b) it wasn't so slutty. it's a tad bit too short, especially since my legs aren't as nice as they were.
1. Yes! Now what I go as or whether my post-baby body will fit into anything other than a giant oversized cloak, who knows.
2. A good amount. We used to get more trucked in when we were doing our own haunted house.
3. No idea officially yet. Normally we'd be over at R's uncle's huge haunted house but they're taking the year off and possibly throwing a party.
4. My parents are bringing her back a tiger costume that they found in some speciality shop back in Colorado.
5. I loved so many of my costumes growing up... like back when Disneyland used to allow you to get in for free if you dressed up.
