My favorites seem to change on a daily basis, LOL!
Sugarland, Norah Jones, LeAnn Rimes, Hinder, Toby Keith, Allison Krauss, Disturbed, Faith Hill, Elton John, Tantric (just a couple songs of theirs), Bon Jovi, just to name a few that come to mind quickly.

well I'm probably going to sound like an old fart.....
but I think I have to say James Taylor.
He's my go to guy for when I'm just relaxing listening to music.... I have loads of other favorites, but he seems to have a song for almost any mood you are in. Also his songs often remind me of certain memories or feelings.
he's RIGHT up there in my top 5.... something about his music just makes me smile, it's simple, but harmonic.. and it's the stuff my Dad sings, so I have a special bond with it... I love him.. truly.. Copperline is one of my favorite songs of all time!! I don't think you're old!!!!!!
Britt- James Taylor was my first concert (I was five) and I've loved him ever since!
My favorite band is Aerosmith. But I do agree with Kim, Christina Aguilera is fantastic! She has such a powerful voice and is one hell of an entertainer.
I have polar opposite tastes in music..country and rap LOL!
I would kill to meet Alan Jackson, George Strait and Jay-Z
