My lunch sucked

I saw after I was part way into my sandwich that my bread had mold.  And my tuna didn't taste right.  The "water" had turned a little into jelly - wtf?  But I kept on eating it.  And then my stupid apple was a little soft/mushy.  I hate gala apples.

just curious as to why you kept eating your lunch if it didn't taste right?

The gala type was on sale a week or so ago.  I prefer fuji though.

What was I supposed to eat otherwise?  I have some fake chicken and an orange, but that's for my late afternoon snack.  =(

My lunch was bad also.  I only had soup.  I really wanted the Mac and Cheese that they were serving at the cafeteria but the lines were too long.  I think now, the wait would have been worth it.  I know that I will be hungry in 2 hours time and will only fill my stomach with chips or chocolate (from the vending machine) to hold me over until dinner.  Great....

The boss is actually gone until about 3, but I was too lazy to leave.  And cheap too, I guess. I knew I should have brought more food to keep in the kitchen freezer, for times like this.

you can get a whole meal at taco bell for what, $2?  or go to the grocery store and get a banquet meal for .89.

I don't think I've ever seen tuna "water" turn to jelly.  I hope it doesn't mean it was spoiled.

I would walk, since Ralphs is literally 2 blocks away, but I am wearing heels.

back when I was super anal about counting calories, I would bring only what I was allowed to eat to work - I brought a hard-boiled egg for my snack, cracked it on the counter, only to realize it wasn't cooked.   and I think my car was in the shop so I couldn't even leave.

I have LC's I could bring and stash here.  But if I bring it to work that day, it's getting eaten that day.  I'm trying to stay disciplined.
