OMG I sooo am in love with Wentworth Miller! I even stole..I think it is Booneybears?..signature pic and its on the desktop on my computer!!
As far as LNA work goes...I only have the experience from my clinical at the school, but I did/do like it. I too wanted to get into some sort of medical career and felt LNA was the quickest way to get my foot in the door. It was a very fast 8 week program that I did on the weekends. I don't think a long term care facility is for me, I really want to be in the hospitals! The great thing about LNA work is you can cross train into a ton of different stuff now with your license. They gave us a paper of a whole list...we can train in phleb, cathedars, ekgs, cardios..etc. Sorry I am rambling...YES I highly recommend it as a place to start.
Re: *Mrs.Tibbz*
My Mom is in LNA courses right now down in NC and she LOVES it. I used to work at a hospital in NC as an opporator, I did a few shifts in the ER (it was a HUGE trauama center in Charlotte, NC) and I loved all the action and the constant business... and since then my real dream is to be a nurse!!!
Unfortunately I'm not sure my employer pays for medical as part of the tuition reimbursement!!! However, I feel like it's time for a change, so who knows!!!!
