Found a new restaurant...
DH and I went out with some friends last night in the Southern Highlands area. In the Smith's shopping plaza is a little restaurant called "Off the Strip" - it was amazing. Not sure if anyone has ever been there but I figured that I would share.
So we walk in... and everyone greets us. The owners come over and ask if we are locals. They were surprised that we were... and said "if you are locals, how come we dont know you? have a seat." One guy is from Italy - so if that tells you how amazing the Italian dinners are! It was fantastic. The atmosphere was nice. And the service was top notch. They even sent over a free cheesecake (I was completely hooked before the cheesecake though) I was already deciding what to order next time we come back! And the prices were very reasonable.

Love. That. Restaurant. Seriously, it's one of my faves. It used to be ranked on tripadvisor.com as the top restaurant in Vegas--even higher ranked than all of those strip resturants! Oh, and have you ever been to Extreme Sushi next door? One of the better sushi restaurants in town, IMO.
Do you live in Southern Highlands? If you do, my girlfriend and I run every Tuesday and Thursday morning in Southern Highlands and you are welcome to join us.

I dont live in Southern Highlands. DH and I sometimes wish we did since all of our friends are now buying houses there. Its a beautiful area. I would love to join you but I really dont run - I can only handle the eliptical. Im such a wuss
