I'm so sorry that you and your DH haven't had success ttc!! I'm glad to hear that your surgery went well and it sounds like you're ready to get back into it. That's exciting!! Have you gone through any tests or are you seeing a RE or anything yet? We have been through all the infertility tests and everything. DH is perfect. While I had surgery(lap.) back in March and my RE found endometriosis (stage 4) in 'significant areas' and because of it's location couldn't remove any. So our best chance of becoming pg is through IVF, thus begins our journey this/next month. I swear I have all kinds of emotions rollercoasting through me!!! I am mainly found on the infertility board on thebump. I would love love to have/form a local buddies support group. DH gets it but only to a point, and it would be great to have friends here that I can turn to ya know. I hope I can make it to the gtg so I can meet everyone and from there hopefully can start up a ttc/if support, buddies group.
Re: **m+j**
Hi! We haven't been to an RE yet because my doctor wanted to try the surgery first and see if it worked. I couldn't have a lap because of the location of my problems, which is why the recovery period is so long. I can't remember the full name of the surgery I had, but it's similar to a c-section. I'm praying that October or November are lucky months for us and I'm even more optomistic now that she claims to have found the big issue and removed the issue with surgery.
I wish you the best of luck with your IVF. You and your DH will be in my thouhts and prayers. I've seen wonderful things happen with IVF. Oh, and re: endo...one of my very close friends had 2 surgeries for her stage 4 endo and was told she may take years to get pregnant. She's now 7 weeks along! So stay positive. Easier said that done, right?
My DH still doesn't "get it" even to a point. He is the most optomistic person I've ever met. He says every month "this is the month for us" while I've started to lose a bit of hope. A buddy group would be great!
We'll also have to gtg when you are done with treatment. We'll plan a meet up one of these days!
