Re: Cell phone service Poll

  • I have verizon.  It's always been pretty good.

I have a razor.  Not so much of a fan of it, but it was the cheepest phone when I was getting a new plan.

  • I have US Cellular. IMO they have the best coverage but they're usually slower at getting the "extras". I have a KRZR now and love it but I will be getting rid of it soon when I get a phone from work. Sad

  • We use Sprint.  We have been w/ them for the past 5 years and are pleased w/ the service.  I'm not big on having a fancy cell phone w/ all the extra dodads...so I just find the "free" phone that they are offering when my 2 years expire.  Right now I have an LG phone that works fine and I like it.  I get a "new" one in a few weeks, though.
  • We both have Alltel now (did when we met too, but Alltel screwed me so I went to US Cellular.)  In NE WI, Alltel seems to have the best coverage, especially going "up north" (US Cellular dropped pretty much all the time north of Crivitz.)
  • We used US Cell but they didn't offer nationwide coverage, so we switched 2 years ago to AT&T. No problems and customer service has been fine so far. Ditto Maestra, we usually grab the free phone because we don't need the extra features.
  • US Cellular

The phone is okay.  I haven't had any problems with it.  US Cellular is the best service I've ever had.  I've had Sprint, TMobile, and AT&T/Cingulair in the past.  US Cellular is the only service that doesn't drop my calls when I'm driving in the middle of nowhere.  I actually travel now for work, and I haven't had any problems with service anywhere I've been (NC, TN, Chicago, Boston, NE, etc.).

  • I've always had Cingular, now AT&T, and I've never had an issue...
