sappy mom alert: the bean is two years old today!
i was up till after 1 last night working on some stuff and then couldn't sleep for reminiscing about the night i went into labor. we sang "happy birthday" to her this morning when she woke up and she sat there with a big ass grin on her face, and then when we were done she said "presents!"
hahaha, she's just like her mother.
and now i can't seem to stop living in the past - i keep tearing up at all the memories that are flooding my brain. i get like this with both girls on their birthdays, though the bean is so little still that all those memories are still pretty fresh.
life is good.

I completely get the L&D memories at birthday time. My little one is turning 6 on Saturday and we're doing our annual drive by the hospital where she was born, busting out the baby book, and just generally enabling her overly sentimental mother.
pinky, i think you and i are soul sisters.
I think we may just be! I won't even get into how your blog about the teen had me in the ugly cry at 11 at night and forced me to go into the Princess' room and give her kisses! There are serious shades of my life now in that post, mac & cheese rules in the Pinky household!
