GTG poll EVERYONE please vote!

Okay so we kinda decided in the previous GTG post to choose one weekend every month to have a GTG (thanks to Jeff&Em for the suggestion)..i personally think this is brilliant so we dont go back and forth every month trying to figure out what's going on.

So...let's vote. I know some months have 5 weekends, but I'll just do 4. Also, do we want to go more specific and say like the first saturday or first sunday of every month? i think it might be better to just leave options since everyone's schedules are different then after each GTG we can vote on fri sat or sun for the next month...but if you dont agree please let me know!!!

here's what i'm thinking about locations monthly...it's totally just a suggestion so you dont have to agree with me and PLEASE let me know if you dont...

but this is what we did...at each gtg we talked about location suggestions for the next gtg...then we would come back to the board and make a poll with those location suggestions.

this worked for us because there were always some people who lived far away from the chosen location each time and we felt bad about that, so at least this way it would rotate who had to drive far and who didn't. we did end up discovering a location that worked well for most that was somewhat in the middle of everything...and we ended up meeting there most times...and well since i'm new to the area i guess idont really know where the 'middle' here would be...is it the bridgeport or washington square area?

what does everyone think?

Well, I think I may have told you guys-I'm moving to Salem. If we can meet in the Lake O, Beaverton area, that would be best for me. I'd rather not have to do downtown PDX often, but realize there are months when i 'take on for the team'.

I voted for the 4th weekend based on my finals week schedules.

I think it makes sense to talk about options for places when we're having a GTG, and then to come back and poll people.  And if someone wasn't at the GTG has a suggestion for someplace to meet they'll be able to contribute, too.

I like the idea of discussing the next location at the GTG.  Washington Square/Bridgeport is definitely not central for some of us but I'd be willing to travel there sometimes but would prefer something closer to downtown or even north portland and NE (where I live) every once in a while as well.  We also have some girls in Vancouver that would probably appreciate closer to downtown or north portland every once in a while.
