It is slow on here and i don't feel like working...so what are you having for dinner???
Re: What is for dinner?
Depending on my level of laziness when I get home, either spaghetti and tofu balls or leftover pumpkin/cashew curry. The pumpkin curry is good, but I've been eating it all week and am so tired of it. But if I'm feeling lazy, it'll be a leftovers night.
Can you tell I live with a vegetarian?
Tomato soup and grilled cheese sounds good! It is quick and easy to make...hmmm
We are out of leftovers, so I am either cooking or picking up fast food.
Maybe I can convince C about having soup and grilled cheese...sounds yummy!
L is at school tonight so I am flying solo. I might make the boys some rice with veggies and chicken nuggets - unless they have a special request on the way home (last night they begged for mac and cheese and Boca burgers.) Yea, call me Gourmet Mom.
I have some pre-marindated frozen salmon that sounds good for me (they refuse to eat fish), but I hate the way it stinks up the house and it takes forever to cook b/c is it frozen. So, who knows what I'll do. I am hoping it is a low key night for us. The last couple of nights have been....well, exhausting.
i have the same complaint about salmon...so, we end up eating it a bunch in the summer (when i can grill it) and almost never in the winter.
Depending on how much energy I have when we get back from babysitting, we're either pulling chili out of the freezer and throwing it in the microwave (at least its homemade?) or having fajitas.

A nap!
Seriously, even though I happen to be super hungry right at the moment, what I want most is to go to sleep! I am exhausted.
I might be able to be talked into tomato soup and grilled cheese (it does sound good), but I had tomato soup for lunch so that might have to be dinner tomorrow instead. I don't care much one way or the other what I eat, as long as I get to sit in bed and have DW bring it to me!! (And I am not even kidding-- today is such a dinner-in-bed kind of day!
)

Best laid plans...
We did a couple errands on the way home and it was after 7:30 by the time I got the kids home and out of the bathe (they were filthy!) Turkey dogs, string cheese, and grapes for them while I prepped their lunches for tomorrow. Dinner of champions.
I still don't know what I am going to eat. But I am starving.
We had breakfast for dinner! By the time Thursday rolls around, I am so over cooking that breakfast-for-dinner has become a weekly thing.
