How much do you spend on...(poll)
(average, monthly)
1. Gas
2. Groceries
3. Eating out for lunches/breakfasts/starbucks without H/SO
4. Random fun stuff like books, movie tickets, clothes, manis, pedis, makeup, etc.
I'm going to try to make October a good spending month bc I have spendy months coming up, plus the past few months were spendy too. =/
Re: How much do you spend on...(poll)
For both of us:
1. $600
2. $500
3. Without H -- probably $200 since I am eating out more these days
4. $250
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
(average, monthly)
1. Gas $150-200
2. Groceries $450-600
3. Eating out for lunches/breakfasts/starbucks without H/SO $75-100
4. Random fun stuff like books, movie tickets, clothes, manis, pedis, makeup, etc. I don't really keep track of this.
I'm with you D. After seeing what we spent on dinners out (together) in the last two months, I've decided October should be a no eating out month for us.
1. $400-500 (much of this ends up being reimbursed from H's work via commute stipends)
2. around $400 (wine not included)
3. usually less than $100 if it's just me
4. it varies a lot from month to month...
1. Gas - I dont spend more than $100 but if I factor H's gas its probably $250
2. Groceries - $200-250
3. Eating out for lunches/breakfasts/starbucks without H/SO $100
4. Random fun stuff like books, movie tickets, clothes, manis, pedis, makeup, etc. - $150
(average, monthly)
1. Gas-$0-Company Car. DH spends at least $200/month
2. Groceries-$200. I cook dinner most nights. We usually go out on Saturday's but spend only about $25 each time.
3. Eating out for lunches/breakfasts/starbucks without H/SO-$20. I eat breakfast at home, I bring my lunch or have a work lunch almost every day and don't do Starbuck's (still have a gift card if I really want one)
4. Random fun stuff like books, movie tickets, clothes, manis, pedis, makeup, etc. -At most $100 but most months way less. I don't do manis, pedi's, movies. I am trying to lose weight so I don't see the point in spending money on clothes unless I need them. I get all my books from the library and we rent movies and I have lots of $$ left on Blockbuster gift cards. Yes we are cheap.
1. $250 for my car
2. $350
3. $200
4. I don't really keep track, but I would have to guess $200-$300
(average, monthly)
1. Gas: $200
2. Groceries: $350
3. Eating out for lunches/breakfasts/starbucks without H/SO: We pack lunch everyday from leftovers at dinner, we buy Oatmeal or cereal to keep at work for breakfast in case we don't get to eat at home, and I don't drink coffee so I would say less than $50.
4. Random fun stuff like books, movie tickets, clothes, manis, pedis, makeup, etc.: I try to keep it under $150 a month.
9/19/12: Miscarriage at 12wks due to Triploidy, D&C 9/24/12 - I will forever miss you my little angel
1. Gas $160
2. Groceries $500+
3. Eating out for lunches/breakfasts/starbucks without H/SO $40
4. Random fun stuff like books, movie tickets, clothes, manis, pedis, makeup, etc. It varies a lot. We each put $150 in a shared account for things like movies, dinner, etc., every month. My own fun stuff varies a lot. I try to keep it under $250.
1. $150
2. $400
3. $100
4. $10
1. Gas - About $120 -Both of our work commutes are 5 or 10 minutes.
2. Groceries - $400 - it depends if we're hosting a party. I love food too much to be cheap on that.
3. Eating out for lunches/breakfasts/starbucks without H/SO - $50 which is a rarity - since I usually bring lunches & coffee. I only allow myself to go out on Fridays for lunch, too.
4. Random fun stuff like books, movie tickets, clothes, manis, pedis, makeup, etc. - $50 to $100. I have it broken down into quarters where I only focus on buying make-up for that month, next month I'll focus on clothes that I need, and then books I want. I can't buy everything in one shot..I'd be poor! If I can last without it, I don't need it.
