Best Discount Furniture places?

We are moving soon and need to buy two armoires/wardrobes because the amount of closet space in the new place is really sad.  Anyways, these are generally really pricey items.  We want something that doesn't look like college furniture, but we also can't afford to spend a fortune.  Any recs for good furniture stores in Columbus/Westerville?  I'd think about Ikea, but the style of the home is really traditional and I think modern pieces wouldn't work.

 Thanks!!

Re: Best Discount Furniture places?

  • We are in the same boat. We've gone out to a few factory stores, one in Hilliard and one in Westerville. The furniture wasn't bad and was much more affordable than some places we've been. Yesterday we went to the JCPenny outlet but didn't see anything we liked. We also tried the Cort store on sancus but the stuff there was pretty worn. I am keeping my eye on Craigslist honestly.
  • Did you go to the JC Penny FURNITURE Outlet?  There is a separate location with furniture only on the other side of Brice Rd. from the "Department Store Outlet"  Anyway the JC Penny Furniture Outlet used to be a "Warehouse Club" back in the day (like Sams').  It's between 70 and Tussing...

Does that make sence?  Hope this helps!!!
