Re: Hi
Hello!
We are going to the Pumpkin Festival tomorrow as long as the weather holds up. Probably go to the mall since it is on the way and pick up some new fall/winter clothes. I am definitely lacking in that department.

It's supposed to rain here as well; I would like to get out and do some "fall" activities.
Sunday is usually a football day, but DH's team (Eagles), have their bye week, so maybe I can get him to go to this event - "sippin by the river", where a bunch of beer vendors are down by the water!
Tonight - I'm thinking just vege out...Pizza & wine!
Avocado festival tomorrow! Avocado ice cream--yum! Tons of people want to come with us this year, so we're all meeting at our house for breakfast first then driving up.
Saturday night and Sunday (and today, actually) will likely be devoted to homework. I have to write a rough draft of my second year project proposal (or, at least a rationale), finalize a research question for my "second second year project" (it's another year-long research project for my qualitative statistics class) and read about 10 journal articles and book chapters. Fun!
At some point, I hope to put up my Halloween decorations, too. I got them out last weekend when I was re-organizing and they have been sitting, waiting patiently, all week.

MOH, RB, FG, and MOH's FI (clearly I'm either really excited or this is acronym overload) are coming to visit this weekend. I think we are going to try to do some dress shopping for MOH and get some ideas for my dress because I get to be the MOH in her wedding. Otherwise I will just exercise my auntie rights and spoil the children completely.

We are kid sitting Y's little brother... I can't say babysitting b/c he's 12. I'll probably take him to a movie or something (a legitimate excuse to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and he can watch me have a beer or two while I watch college football
. Y has a test Monday so he'll be at the library all weekend.
And, I promise I'm not trying to offend, I just am trying really hard not to be that former bride who continues to talk/think about their wedding for way too long -- Does anyone else think it's time to stop referring to people by their wedding titles? I probably do it too, and I realize that's the main tie we all have to each other, but I will understand "sister and niece" or "BFF and BFF's daughter" just as easily as I can understand "MOH and FG"
I think it's habit more than anything else - at least for me it is. But yeah, the wedding's over so BFF can be substituted above.
