Aphids on ornamental pepper plan

Hi there,

I'm pretty new here. so hello's all around.

Hopefully someone can help me - I have aphids on an ornamental pepper plant I bought this summer.  How do I make them go away???  I've been putting it under the shower to rinse them off and spraying it regularly with water mixed with a little bit of dish detergent.  Any other suggestions?

 TIA!

Re: Aphids on ornamental pepper plan

  • If that's not working, I'd suggest an aphid spray--you can pick it up at Home Depot. I got aphids last year and the water and detergent killed my flowers but got rid of the bugs, so in the end it didn't really make a difference. We try to be as EF as possible, but this yera a few sprays of the aphid killer over 2 weeks and they were gone. GL!
