Where in CT to donate old PC for tax deduction?

Is there a website of locater to find this type of place. Do you know of a place where I can drop off my used PC?

Thanks.

Nutmeg, cilantro, sage, mint, thyme... these are a few of my favorite things! Visit The Nest!Visit The Nest! We have four children; one left us too soon.

Re: Where in CT to donate old PC for tax deduction?

  • I think Goodwill will take them.  And you can get a tax donation slip from them.
  • You should be able to drop it off at Goodwill or a public school might even take it.  Just make sure you completely re-format your hard drive (which eliminates the operating sytem from the pc) so that they won't be using your license for the O/S.

Oh, and be sure to get a receipt to claim the donation on your taxes. :)

  • I'm not sure where you are in CT but there is a great program in Bridgeport that holds camps for children who want to learn computers. They also sell computers for a very low cost.  Here is their website:
