Cooking GTG?
This board has been so quiet lately 
I was just reading another food blog (I read wayyy too many) and the blogger talked about having a themed get together with her friends (they did Spanish food). I would LOVE to do something like that, and was wondering if maybe we could plan a Saturday or Sunday GTG/potluck type thing. We could do it along a theme or not, but it might be fun to do themes and keep it going throughout the year.
I live in the middle of nowhere, but I would be happy to host if people don't mind making the trek to Seneca. What do you all think?

I think it'd be fun. Would this be a girls or couples thing? I'll probably have DH cook either way =P.

We could do it as a couples thing, if you think your guys would be interested (particularly the chef-in-training husband!). My DH would probably like some male bonding time if I take over the kitchen with a bunch of women
