Happy Monday!
Friday: My BFF came over to hang out and we had pizza delivered.
Saturday: Drove up to HB to sit with MH's grandma, who is recovering from a heart attack. Went to SCP only to get frustrated by all the a-holes that shop (and park) there. I hate that mall.
Sunday: Spent all day cooking for MH's grandma so she has freezer means to eat this week, got the nursery painted and spent way too much money at Target.
This week will be busy at work, but we leave Friday morning for Carmel/Monterey. w00t!
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Kim, that was so sweet of you to cook all of those meals for YH's grandma. I hope she recovers quickly.
I didn't do much of anything this weekend except clean my house. I'm trying to get everything ready for our trip to TX.
Wed we leave for TX for DH's surgery. I want to have everything clean and ready here so when we get back on Friday, I can take care of him!
My weekend was pretty mellow. Friday my flight back was delayed and routed to LAX. I was exhausted and had zero energy all weekend
H+P to grandma arino.
fri: went to concert. our lame-ass friends flew all the way from SF but never bought tickets - they thought they could buy some around the venue, no such luck. they ended up going to a bar and we met up with them later to see a smaller show. raphael saadiq, john legend, and them crooked vultures (dave grohl's band) were rad.
sat: concert + rain = sucky. we were prepared with ponchos and umbrellas, but then my poncho ripped, our shoes were soaked, and it was miserable. met up with friends later and went to dinner.

sun: previous day's rain + dirt = one hot mess. we were smart and just parked our chairs between two stages and just shifted our chairs, but a bunch of people looked like this:
oh, did I mention they used dirt made out of (treated) human feces? if you thought port-o-potties smelled bad, you haven't experienced the next level.
walking through this to go to the bathrooms was tons 'o fun:
regardless, we saw the B-52, ben harper, white lies, passion pit, and a smidgen of pearl jam. all were really good.
I'd like to sleep for a week to recover now.
I had a good weekend.
Fri: Back and forth between Detroit Bar for Say Hi and David Bazan and Chain Reaction for my students' band. It was a fun night.
Sat: My parents came into town. We went shopping at Fashion Island, had drinks at their hotel, and then dinner at The Melting Pot.
Sun: Tried to go to Oktoberfest, but didn't pay attention to when it opened. Got there too early, but still ate at the German restaurant, which made my dad happy. Then my parents left and I had a nice lazy Sunday on the couch.
This week I feel like I have a lot going on.

Man, I can't believe that rain/mud. Gross.
PP was good (I think?)! they all started to blend together.
This weekend was super chill, which I really needed. We went to the movies and saw Zombieland, and rented Taken. Both were really good.
This week: just getting through the work week. I've been really bad about getting up and working out in the mornings, so I'm forcing myself to get up at least 3 times this week. If I can do this, I will consider the week a success.
Oooh, I just found out we get next Monday off for Columbus Day! I don't know WHY, but I don't care! This week has already immensely improved!
Fri: Cooked dinner at home and started to read Catching Fire
Sat: Boogie box in the morning, H and I cleaned the house, went to lunch, bought some Halloween stuff at Target, and then lounged around the house the rest of the day
Sun: Went bowling with my Nephew and Sister in the morning and went to to the mall
Lots of work planned this week and preparing for a garage sale on Staurday.

Sat: Oktoberfest party with the gays and the mbocs, love it.
Sun: errands galore.
Fri - spent quality bonding time with my DVR
Sat - helped out with my sorority alumni associate at the Ronald Mcdonald House
Sun- brunch at plums with some friends then dinner at ILs
friday - made and wrote out a shitload of thank-you notes. costco pizza dinner.
saturday - fun bridal shower out in the valley.
sunday - fun birthday party, again in the valley, and then dinner with the ILs at the grove/farmer's market.
the teen is home this week, so it's going to fly by. the boss is also out on vacay, so i'm having fun getting paid for doing...this. and friday i have a fun GTG with my new junior league pals.
Friday & Saturday - walked around like a zombie due to vampire baby.
Sunday - celebrated what was my due date with studio pictures of Bella that took forever, came home, slept while R watched the baby.
This week - a whole lot of nothing, just prepping for my parents coming out in 12 days.

It's Monday, and I am still super tired.
Friday- Rented Movies, Pizza,and told our parents about the baby. Everyone is stoked.
Saturday - Went to water aerobics, and a concert at the Hollywood Bowl
Sunday - I slept almost the entire day
This weekend is the Long Beach Marathon. I'll be walking most of it, so hopefully I won't get picked up by the race trucks for going too slow.

I have a bad case of the Mondays.
This weekend was nice and relaxing. Had a birthday party on Saturday. My daughter was so well bahaved. I didn't have to chase her around the park which was nice. Sunday we went to breakfast with my H's grandma. I also finished Firefly Lane, watched college football, and did some shopping for daughter's birthday party. That was the extent of my weekend.
Saturday: got to my local fairs beer garden at 10:30 am and snagged a great table in the shade. Had so much fun we left the garden at... 5:30 pm. Oy. Lots of fun catching up with old friends.
Sunday: recovering from the garden with dinner with folks and aunt and uncle. This week can suck it already. I'm so glad I was off at 3 today.
Friday: Star Wars in Concert. Seriously.
Saturday: Nothing. Didn't go to fair b/c friend was sick.
Sunday through Tuesday: Monterey for work conference.
Wednesday: dineLA with ajones1, Nannersp, and weatherjen99.
