Re: massage envy?

Ok, ladies - I'm a member there (so is DH). I have been to Waterford (recommend Michelle and Ashley), Altamonte (recommend Heather), and Winter Park (only went once and haven't found a good one yet - but will let you know on the next one).
The monthly membership is a great deal. It's $50/month for the first person and $40/month for the second person. If you join and give them my name, I'll get an extra 30 minutes on one of my massages... and you can do the same for any referrals (PM me for a last name if you want - no biggie).
So... the massages are 50 minutes, and a very good deal if you don't need all the frills of a spa. It's very basic in-and-out massage, but it's clean and relaxing. Your first massage is $39, so why not give it a try? You don't have to commit to a monthly membership. DH had never had a massage, but HE is the one that got hooked right away and signed us up for a membership. LOL.
I think gift cards make great gifts for this place because it's a cheap way to make a big impact, and they have them everywhere!

I have been to the one by me a few times(not in the orlando area) They were actually 3 of the best massages I have ever had. I did not join though. I went for the $39 intro one and a few months later they called and offered me that price again. Last month they had a special. It was $39 even if you have already gotten that rate because all proceeds went to breast cancer awareness.
The membership at the one by me is $59/mo and it includes one massage. If you want to come in again during the month you can get the $39 rate. I never joined since I can always find different spas that offer specials that are less than $59.
Thanks for the heads-up! That's the new one that just opened in my neighborhood, and I've been thinking about going. I'll def. do some more research before choosing a place to get massaged. Hope your step-mom feels better soon.
