Brendan woke up at 5:30am this morning. That is too darn early! Sometimes he'll fall back asleep but I didn't let him play in his crib because my friend is visiting from CT. I didn't want him to wake her as the guest room is next to his room. So hear we are playing and nesting. Yawwwn. I look forward to his first nap in an hour. It's going to be a lonnnng day.
Re: It's too early
that stinks Sam but I think you are being a really nice friend. I would never expect my friend who had a baby to do that and I am sure that she doesnt mind either but that was super nice of you!
I had the opposite situation this morning. Normally he wakes up at 5:30 (which he did to feed) but then went back down till 7am!! He slept almost 12 hours (well after not sleeping at all yesterday for my mom! lol)
You need to tell Jakob and Caroline that between 5:30 and 6am is too early to wake up, because that's when they get up everyday!!!! I'll take it, though, because generally they are in bed every night by 7pm and I get a few hours to myself each night to get some chores done.
Every day is a long day, though, isn't it?
I also agree that you are being too nice to your friend. If someone is staying IN YOUR HOUSE knowing that you have an infant, they should expect to be woken up at an ungodly hour
