Looking for good remote desktop program
I've been looking for a good program to connect to my home computer from work... and having some issues.
Live mesh - I can't get this to work. The first time it wouldn't install, then I tried it all again and it installed, but wouldn't let me log in - very frustrating.
LogMeIn - works but the lag is annoying (though I realize nothing will ever be great in that department) - but it randomly disconnects with insane frequency.
TeamViewer - I've had trouble getting a session going, even though I know I left it open on my home computer. It seems more geared towards when there is a user on each end of the system.
Any others?

Re: Looking for good remote desktop program
I've been using RemotelyAnywhere for the past few years and I love it. The only down side to me offering this advice is that it's made by LogMeIn and you don't seem to be too fond of them. I am regularly using it from across the country - literally on the opposite coast - and find the lag to be acceptable based on other programs that I've used. One of the main reasons I like using it is because it doesn't require 3rd party software if you use Firefox, just an extension.

Of course if you don't feel like paying for it, there are plenty of free programs out there
