General Contractor/Cabinet Remodel Recs?
Hi all,
My husband and I are moving into a new house in a couple of weeks, and it has a really pretty built in entertainment center. Problem is, the center is built for a 32 inch tube TV. We have a 58 inch plasma. Does anyone have a recommendation for someone who could refashion our built in to be able to fit our TV? We're hoping to find someone who can just cut out the middle section of shelves and then sand/stain the wood. This is kind of an odd project, and I'm having a terrible time finding someone who does this.

I have someone but I'm in Richardson. He travels but I'm not sure how far.
Funny you should ask. I was having an issue finding a general contractor because we had an odd problem (had a cracked shower pan in a standup shower.)
This guy's team came in and has done an AWESOME job. I thought the quote he gave me was to replace what we previously had (a crappy plastic shower pan), but he demo'd the whole thing, tiled in the bottom, it looks beautiful! I highly recommend him. (and I did end up leaving them alone in my house yesterday after being there with them for two days. Nothing went wrong).
