New to Beaufort area, anyone from here?
We recently moved to Beaufort SC to help take care of my retired grandparents and know nobody, and it seems like there is absolutely nothing to do!! We quite frankly hate it at this point! Is anyone from here or used to live here and knows of anything at all to entertain yourself with, we are originally from the Cleveland area, and lived in the city, so this is a total life style change for us and it is driving us mad!!

If you like the outdoors, take a trip to Hunting Island...yes. it's a beach, but it has many trails to walk/bike.
Also, on weekends, visit cities like Charleston and Savannah.
I absolutely love Beaufort! My cousin lives in Port Royal and I go up all the time to visit from Charleston. Bay Street has several fun places to hang out on the weekends. They seem to have a lot of festivals there. I know the shrimp festival is coming up or might have just passed.
I know that might not be your thing, since you're from Cleveland, but there are a few things to do. I'd check out Hilton Head, Savannah, Charleston, etc.
