Superstitions - 100 ways to avoid dying
So, I am really, really putting off editing photos... I've wandered onto Farmer's Almanac. I remembered that we had talked about weird superstitions on this board and thought I would share this. I've never heard of any of them. Have you? I know I've done some... and I'm still alive... so far.

Re: Superstitions - 100 ways to avoid dying
I've heard of one or two, like covering mirrors after someone dies, though I've never done it.
I have done several others, though. Heck, my cat's favorite place to sleep was on the piano keys! Some of these are just plain weird.....letting a lizard count your teeth?! Okay....I won't!
Oh wow. I've done quite a few, too! I guess the only one that sounds familiar is the umbrella one but the one I heard (and I'm sure everyone else too) is to not open an umbrella indoors.
How does a lizard count your teeth, exactly?
I know a few lizard accountants that will do so for a nominal fee.
Well...I'm out.
I have heard of a few, but I'm not too superstitious
20. If a picture falls from the wall, don't pick it up. - What are you supposed to do with it then? Leave it there forever? I don't get half of these

That's funny that you picked that one out, too. My H and I were laughing about it. Our answer to what do you do... invite someone you don't like over. They'll wonder what it's doing on the floor and pick it up.
