I'm going to be an aunt!  It's the first baby on my family's side.  My sister is due on 4/25/10 and she's so excited!  I know she had to do some kind of fertility something or other and she wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly.  I'm so happy, even though I'm the anti-baby monster!

Thanks guys!  I've been on lock down...I've known for about 6 weeks but she wouldn't let me tell until now (she's ~11 weeks now but got transferred from the fertility specialist to the regular doctor yesterday).  It's been killing me!  They're hoping for a boy (but will be happy with a girl, obviously) but me and my other sister want a girl (but I'll take a boy too).  And I'm not allowed to name it (Mike suggested Bert for a boy...I think he was serious too).

I can't believe your sister's going to let you near the baby though, you being the anti-baby monster and all. LOL

Boys are fun to be an auntie to - my nephews were so much fun growing up.  (My nieces though... AT-TI-TUDE!!! )

Mike suggested Bert?  Ok, so if by chance you two DO decide to have kids, he does not get naming rights.  Or you get to hold unlimited veto power.  ha.

Oh yeah, he really did suggest Bert.  And when my friend had her twins he suggested Ned and Ted.  According to him, names should be humorous.

He's not even allowed to name pets anymore.  Poor Chloe would have ended up with some kind of weird, scary name had I not intervened.
