North Fork or Montauk hotel?
I'm looking for a hotel recommendation. I know a lot of them are motel-types, and that's fine, I just want something clean and reasonably priced.
I asked a few weeks ago for recommendations in a variety of areas and someone (Mrs.Kocal?) recommended the Apple Valley Inn...sadly it was booked both weekends we wanted to go!

hey CityGirl! if you don't get any more suggestions here, you might want to try the Long Island board. It seems like it's pretty dead there but there are a few who at least lurk that will answer a question.
