I'm seeing perennial sales on the internet, and I'm sure my fave nursery has some deals. Would you risk putting something in this late in the season?

Re: Zone 5b/6--would you?
Supposedly, they ship when it is the right time to plant. I risked it with a few things this year. I was buying bulbs anyway, so I tacked on some lavender and some russian sage just for fun.
Although, I have had bad luck with it in the past. I know the bulbs will grow, but the rest is a gamble. The place I ordered it from will guarantee that it will live for a year though. We will see.
