Gift ideas for mom?
Hi ladies,
My dad is visiting us and is going back home tomorrow. He would like to buy a gift for my mom and have asked me (wrong person).
It is difficult to shop for her, the following are off the list:
she has so many perfums/make up, wallet, gloves, purses and does not use most of them. She has special taste in jewelry so no bling. Nothing parishable as he is traveling back home. Unfortunately, she does not have much of a hobby, not a big reader, she is all about work and kids --even though we are grown ups now. No spa, no store gift certificate --she does not live here.
Any ideas?

are we long lost sisters???i have the hardest time finding gifts for my mom too.
what about a photo or piece of art for her to hang at home?
i'm afraid i don't have any other suggestions b/c i get my mom gift cards for mani/pedis here (she'll get them here b/c they are expensive where she is) or we take her out to dinner when she visits.
