Bite of Las Vegas??

Anyone planning on going?  Or maybe want to go together?  I was thinking of going to check it out, couldn't make it last year!

Unfortunately I have to go to my 5 year graduate school reunion that day and the UNLV homecoming game that night.  If you've never been to Bite of Las Vegas, you should definitely go.  It's definitely one of my favorite events in Vegas.  One thing that irritates me is that they always seem to do it on or around UNLV's homecoming.  It's our local school and that's one of our major radio stations--you would think they would have some consideration or even a little bit of local school spirit!  vent over....:)

When is it and what exactly is it?

It's a concert sponsored by 94.1 with lots of different bands.  The twist is that there are restaurants from all over Las Vegas that have small little stands where they give out samples of their food for anywhere from $1-5.  It's a lot of fun and some of the food is outstanding.  One year I had the best bbq of my life!  It's next Saturday, October 17th.  It starts at 11am and goes until like 10 at night and is being held at Desert Breeze park.

Sounds fun, but that is the day before my birthday and we will be in Cali!
