If you are making dinner for someone
what would you make them. Something easy, someone who just had a baby! Thanks for your suggestions!
Re: If you are making dinner for someone
Anything that you can eat and then freeze for later. Also depends on season? If they just had a baby now...maybe make a nice antipasto salad with grilled chicken in it for immediate, and a small tray of lasagna for freezing? If they like spice, i'll give you my jambalaya recipe, that freezes well...also my sauce recipe, they can use it 19 billion different ways.
Hmm. If it wasn't summer, I'd say try a stew, but in the heat, oy. Homemade chicken soup is light though, and she can add rice or noodles to it if she wants, or thicken it and make fricassee...
A fancy pizza, like chicken pesto? Or maybe bbq chicken, bacon & red onion? Bring over garlic bread & salad to go with it.
anything that can be grilled....quick and easy and summer-ish!!! Maybe a grilled Pizza or something?????
and yes, ANYTIME is a good time for Pot Pie!!!!
OMG
Make my mac and cheese!!!!!!!!! Yay for whomever said mac and cheese
Heather,
Will you post the recipe or email me? Thanks!
Have you got my WW parmesan turkey meatloaf recipe? If not let me know and I will send it to you! I usually make that (uncooked) and deliver with cooking instructions.
I've also done similarly with stuffed shells.
