I've never before had a pair or even considered a pair. Here's why: are they waterproof? Around here, nothing's helpful unless it's waterproof. LOL
And I avoid suede like the devil during winter. Between salt & snow & ice, it'll get ruined, even if it's been sprayed with protectant.
Re: UGG Question
I spray mine each fall with a scotch guard. I wear them all fall and winter long. Even into the spring. In the rain, snow, all kinds of weather. And I have no water marks on them. I've had my light tan pair for 5 years and they still look like new and I have worn them so much.
All you need to do is slip your bare feet into a pair and you'll part with the $140. Trust me, they are amazing.
Paula you could go to Macy's and try the Emu brand. They claim to be just like Uggs but a little cheaper.
I have another pair of really comfy black snow boots from Macy's but can't remember the brand. I bought them before my Uggs and I think they are actually just as soft and warm.
ROFL - doesn't matter how happy my feet are. My husband's wallet would be INSANELY unhappy with me for spending $140 on a pair of boots that appear all-too-easily ruined. LOL I've NEVER spent that much on a pair of shoes or boots.
Come on, you cant really be rolling on the floor laughing.
Well you know what a tight wad MH is and I already have 1 pair and just convinced him I need another pair (now I want the grey ones like Jen and Jo! LOL!).
I just came home and showed MH what I bought! I don't usually ask him before I buy things unless it is ridiculously expensive.
They're like pillows for my feet!
