Is it wise to use work address?

Hi ladies,

My husband and his brother used to live together a few years ago. Then his brother moved out. He still has access to the mail box and some his mail still comes here. long story...

We have sensetive and confidential documents coming from our family lawyer which certainely I rather remain between us.

Is it wise, I give my work address to our lawyer and have the documents sent to my work until we have the mail box thing sorted out?

Could this raise a flag at work being a family lawyer?

Thanks!
WR

Re: Is it wise to use work address?

  • Maybe you could try a post office box temporarily? I am always hesitant to send anything personal to work since so many people actually touch it before it lands on my desk....
  • I think it depends on the work place - I'm always the one that receives packages and gets the mail from super. (we have a small office). Could you have the lawyer send a certified letter (or some other form of mail that requires a signature or validation that only you are getting it). otherwise, you could try the post office.

  • Thanks ladies! Certified mail is a good idea as well as post office mail box.
    Have a great weekend!
