Honestly? That he was caucasian.
We met in the currency-exchange line at Tokyo-Narita airport, so it stood out that he wasn't Japanese. I then assumed he must be there for the same thing I was, and he was.
Likes: convenience, theatre, I don't have to drive, running into people I know, great opportnuities, the FOOD, the city itself, parks, always seeing or experiencing something new, exploring different neighborhoods
Dislikes: cost of living, being far from family, congestion, not being able to pick up and drive where I want, when I want (but only sometimes)
Um, YES, PLEASE! We'll be there during the holidays for a week (YES!) and then I'll come out again at the end of the show's run in mid-March.
(DH just booked the lead in Phoenix Theatre's production of The Light in the Piazza which opens in February. He was Marius in last year's Les Miserables, if any of you saw that.
