2010 weddings A LOT

I am one of a handful of people i know in real life that got married this calendar year. My wedding is the only I went to this year (assuming I don't get invited to one taking place in the next 10 weeks). I have about 4 friends that just got engaged and are planning for a 2010 wedding and we still have the holiday season to get through. At this rate I really hope I don't get invited to all of them. anyone else have more 10 weddings than 09 to attend?

I have zero.  Know of some engaged people, but nobody I'm close to so probably no invite. 

I'm glad about this.

DH and I have 7 weddings between the time of our wedding and first anniversary (so 7 between 6/5/09 and 6/5/10). We have gone to 2 so far and have another one in two weeks and then we have 4 in 2010...

I don't know if we'll have any next year. The rest of my friends are slacking on the marriage business.

We had 8 in '08. 

Just mine and a close friend's this year.

For '10, so far we have 5.  And they are all big ones - either family or close friends.  I'm MOH in one.   And...I'm thinking at the rate we're going there will probably be more.  Yipee.

DH and I each went to one in '08 (they were the same weekend, one was a co-worker of mine and one was a friend of DH's from college), we went to one in '09 (besides our own) and we have none planned for '10.  Few of our friends are steadily dating, none are engaged.  With the obvious exception of DH and I, we're not really the marrying kind.

I went to 1 in '06, 1 in '07, 2 in '08, and mine in '09. (I was supposed to go to another one in October, but they just called it off...)

In '10 I have 1 for sure (I'm a bridesmaid) and I could potentially see at least 1 more...

I think our busiest year so far was 2 years ago, i think we got invited to 11 or so just from spring to fall that year... we just didnt get to make it to all of them. last year we didn't have any and so far we've been to two other than our own this year. Non so far for next year but I have a feeling there will be one sometime next year!

09 was a busy year for us. We were invited to 6 weddings between July and now. I (think) we only have maybe one or two weddings in the next year. I'm sure baby showers are coming our way.

DH and I had 4 in '08, 5 in '09 counting the last one this weekend, I was MOH in 1, DH was in 1, plus ours, and so far 4 scheduled for '10 including 2 where I am the MOH.  I feel like all of our friends are getting married within a 3 year period.

We were just talking about this and I don't have any to go to next year.  All my friends are married or are close to being engaged but aren't yet.  2011 might be a busy year for us though.

We have 2 that we are in next year + 2 we will most likely be invited to.

We had/have 8 this year (including ours). 5 of them alone were from my mothers side of the family (cousin's). Our last wedding is 10-24. I would have to say that this year was the busiest. We don't have any next year....as of yet.

Our year was definitely this year.  I think it just depends on your age and your friends' ages.  After 2009, almost all of our friends are married now.  We had 6 weddings to attend and all were out of state.  We have at least 1 left (but I don't think we're going).  So far, only 1 wedding we know of next year...thank goodness!
