Has anyone ever been? Worth it? I'm a vegetarian but DH isn't...do they have any food that I can eat?
Thanks as always
Re: Taste of Charleston?
I went last year. Here's the thing: you pay money to get in. And then all the food that they have available costs tickets. And tickets cost money. So it ended up being a lot more money than I anticipated. Also, most of the restaurants were "normal" restaurants, like Red's, Wild Wings, stuff like that. There were maybe 5-7 restaurants that were nice, like The Charleston Grill.
I don't really know how to advise you with the vegetarian thing. Everything that I tasted last year had meat in it. I'm sure you can find something, though, there's SO much food!
Overall, it was fun but I don't think I would go again. Hope that helps!
I went. I'm late responding and I'm sorry.
I was shocked that you paid $10 for the ticket, then had to pay for more tickets to eat/drink. I could not find bottled water there to save my entire life.
I had nearly all shrimp while there, though I saw some rice dishes. I don't know how vegetarian friendly it really was.
Would I go back? Eh.
