seattle nestie needs hotel rec near magic mountain
DH and I decided to fly out to visit magic mountain. in a few hours (!!!). Does anyone have a rec for a nice hotel near by? Not looking to spend a ton of $$ on a hotel we'll only be spending a minimal amount of time at but something nice.

Hyatt Regency Valencia is nice and down the street about 3 miles.
Holiday Inn, Best Western, Hampton Inn, Marriot ... all short driving distance.

are you flying out JUST for magic mountain? because i hate to say it, but that place is ghetto as all hell nowadays.
but hey, have fun.
M&D -- We ended up staying at the Hyatt. Thanks for the rec on it, we were happy with the hotel there and the rate was great.
And yes, we went JUST for Magic Mountain. We flew to San Jose last weekend for Great America and decided we wanted to visit another amusement park and MM seemed to have some pretty sweet rides (which they did!). We just don't have any good parks up here in WA and we're saving Knotts/Disneyland/Sea World for over Superbowl Weekend so there will be no lines. haha
