Russell Athletic/Fruit of the Loom in BG
Hi ladies! I'm from the NC nest board. I am originally from middle TN and am looking to make a move back that way. I found a job posting at Russell (in Bowling Green) for a job that is exactly what I want (I'm a market researcher). I'm just curious if any of you guys work for them or know anyone who does. This job is exactly what I've been looking for and I'd love to have any insights into the company or any advice. Thanks in advance!

I worked at Fruit part-time twice--once the summer after I graduated from HS and for about 1 1/2 years while I was attending WKU. The areas where I worked were the traffic/logisitics department and Business Analysis & Research.
I really enjoyed working there. It's a laid-back atmosphere and they're loyal to their employees. My interview process (granted, they were PT positions) was not intense. It probably helped because I knew some people that worked there already and they recommended me for the positions. While I was there PT, I was offered two FT positions. I only turned these down because: the first would require me to go to WKU PT and work FT and I really wanted to finish my degree first and the second because I was moving to Danville after the wedding because DH was already living/working there.
