How did everyone's weekends go?

TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
Re: How was your weekend?
We had a lazy weekend which was really nice.
Friday we went furniture shopping and got a good idea of what we want to do with the new house and got a couch and loveseat for the living room.
Saturday the ILs came over and FIL helped DH with rekeying the door and MIL and SIL helped me cover some bookcase shelves with fabric.
Sunday we didn't do much other than go to church and DH got his hair cut. It was nice to lounge around.

We went out just the two of us on Friday night and then we went to another bar to meet up with my parents for a bit.
Saturday, we watched football and got to hang out with our OOT friends for the rest of the night - went out to dinner and came back to our house and played some hold 'em and assho|e.
Yesterday, we went to FIL's so that I could help him fix his computer. We were taking care of a sick Piper all day, too. Then, we went to the grocery stores, came home and watched football and I made some yummy lemon poppyseed muffins.
Rock, you always make the coolest sounding stuff
Ours was good. We are now the proud parents of a wall mounted 47" TV. I think H loves it more than he loves me right now :P It's cool though. We watched Iron Man on Blu Ray.. holy crap. The quality is amazing! We watched movies and babysay my MOH's daughter on Saturday, that was fun. She's such a cool kid.
Sunday I went to PetSmart and talked with the people that I adopted our cat from and gave them an update on him and looked at the other kitties. I wanted to take them all home. Then I came home, watched Bride Wars, cooked dinner and was in bed by 9:30.

Congrats! We bought ourselves a housewarming gift and got a 46"...football games are a lot more fun with the HD!

Oh I bet
I get to call the cable company today and switch to HD as well. This was kind of our housewarming gift, we used some of our First Time Homebuyer tax credit to buy it
How are you guys liking your new home? Is this your first home? I bet the games are awesome in HD. You are right there with them

Lol, I know exactly what you mean! My parents gave us a 46" in. flatscreen as our wedding present and I think it helped DH confirm that he married the right woman--he freakin' loves that thing!
LOL. When my parent's got theirs, Brett was at the house before my Dad got back because my Dad called him on the way home and asked if he could hook it up

Saturday we went to Wal-Mart to get a few things, rented some movies, then stopped for lunch. Once we were home we watched football all day and I did laundry and a little cleaning here and there.
After football I made dinner, then we watched a movie and enjoyed the cold rainy night together.
Sunday was a super lazy day. We napped, watched a movie, and watched our dog try to figure out his new dog house (he's always had access to the garage before so he's never had a dog house before).
It is our first home and we are loving it! It?s too big for us now (should be perfect in a few years when hopefully kids come) so it?s been fun figuring out what to do with the space and decorating it all.
We were actually joking about the HD when we were watching the Nebraska game and there was a bad call and we decided that we could see what really happened better than the officials because we were watching it in HD!

On Friday we went out to eat with a few friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. They all went out to a bar after while DH brought me home. I didn't need to go in a smoky bar room since I have a cold. That would not help the sinuses one bit. He then left me to go meet up with our friends.
On Saturday, we went to a wedding, bought a gift for a shower, then went to a friend's house to watch the LSU vs. Florida game. (Tigers lost...boooo)
On Sunday, we went to church, went eat, went to Wal-Mart, then came home. I did lesson plans and DH did the laundry.
LOL, that's awesome!!! I've had a blast decorating our house. It's so cool to be able to come home to home, rather than an apartment or a bedroom [I was at home until we were married] and know that you own it and can decorate it however you want
And the tax credit is pretty sweet

Friday night I went to bed at 8pm. I was seriously tired and it felt really good to get some sleep.
Saturday we hung around the house and made a corned beef dinner together.
Sunday I went to a winery with my sister and then me and hubby went to our friends house to watch the Steelers game. It was a fun day.
DH had today off but I had to work. He got some minor repairs done on both of our cars and met me for dinner at a restaurant near my work.
Mine was actually kind of crummy. I had to take DH to the airport for another rotation in Russia. This one is only 4 weeks, though, and hopefully that will fly by.
Most of Friday and Saturday was taken up with getting him ready to go and taking him to the airport. Sunday I did lots of chores around the house and relaxed a bit. Monday I did some wedding gift-card shopping as well as more chores. Keeping up a house by yourself is a lot of work!
I'm sorry to hear that! I hope the time goes by super fast for you!
