Southside Help

I am hoping you ladies have some recommendations for me. I am trying to find the best way to look for Condo, Townhouse or Duplex rentals in the Greenwood, southside area.  All the websites I have found are for apartment rentals.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Drive thru a few neighborhoods.  There are a bunch of duplexes on the the southside of County Line Rd between Emerson and 31.  When we first started looking at houses we drove around and saw some for rent signs in the duplexes there.  There's Pinebrook?, it's on Smith Valley near 135, I think that it's all townhomes.  Barton Farms is on Stop 18 Rd and I think they rent small homes/duplexes on the opposite side of the road from their apt complex.  If I think of anything else I'll post back.

I wouldn't hesitate to contact a realtor you know (I can suggest one, but you may know one already)

We have friends moving to Indy and they are renting and a realtor helped them find their house--I think in this tough market realtors are doing whatever they can to help existing clients with their properties listed, which may mean finding renters. Also helping renters generates leads for when they are ready to buy.

Nope don't have a realtor and never even thought of it since we want to rent.  If you think it is an option, I am open to suggestions

I know there are townhomes on 135 between stones crossing and Smith Valley.  The developer has started to rent them out since they aren't selling and they have garages too but I don't remember the name at the moment.  We are building down that way and I pass it often, I'll look next time I go to the house.

I've seen those townhomes on 135 as well.  I live in a "paired patio home" community off of Stones Crossing.  There are a couple of for sale by owner homes that might be worth checking to see if they want to rent.  If not, I know a realtor who also manages rentals.
