Thanks for all your help!
We had a fantastic time in Oregon! Thank you so much for all your help & suggestions! I have finally convinced DH to consider moving out to OR or WA we even started looking at houses!!!
I even got to bust out my rain boots the first day we were there which is fantastic cause living in CO my boots hadn't seen much action but I totally want to start collecting them after seeing some adorable ones in Seaside!
Thanks ladies!

Re: Thanks for all your help!
So glad you enjoyed your stay here. Come back often! :-)
What did you guys end up seeing while here?
Glad you had a great time! I'm curious to hear what you saw as well.
On moving here, I hope you are aware of the high unemployment rate in Oregon right now. We are #4 in the nation. And as was mentioned in a post a few lines down, a lot of people stay here because they love the place so much. But that doesn't help when you're trying to find a job. So please before you move and buy a house, make sure you have jobs lined up.

We were so busy and there was so much to do! Quite a change of pace from where I live at in CO...
We started off every morning with a walk on the beach! That was great! Then on Thursday we spent half a day at Depoe Bay where we hung out at the Whale Watching center, had some salt water taffy, then went on a 2 hour whale watching boat & that was fantastic! We saw 5 whales and a ton of sea lions. Then we headed over to Oregon Coast Aquirium which was also great! We got to touch sea urchins, starfish, & sting rays. We also spent Friday at Multnomah Falls hiking & enjoying the scenery, followed up by the afternoon/evening @ McMenamin's Edgefield which is a really neat place!
Then we went & did the tour @ Tillamook on Saturday morning & had some breakfast and ice cream (gotta love vacation) before spending the rest of the day on the beach then headed off to the wedding which was beautiful! It stopped raining about 20 minutes before the ceremony so dispite the fact that it was FREEZING they were able to hold it outside.
Sunday we headed up to Seaside and had such a nice day! Spent the morning going through the shops, stopped at a few old fashioned soda shops, rode bumper cars, played mini golf, & flew kites at the beach. Then we spent the evening at Funland playing arcade games.
Before heading to the airport we stopped at Trader Joe's & Ikea to stock up on some goods, did a little more sales tax free shopping, & flew home...
We definatly needed more time while we were out there though cause we were hoping to squeeze in the Evergreen museum, fishing, lighthouse tours, hot springs, & a bunch of other stuff.
Esther,
Thank you so much for the heads up. Luckily I WFH as an Arbonne consultant & DH is co-owner of a masonry so he will still manage some CO jobs while building his business out there. We are also going to wait until we are able to live on my Arbonne income alone so I definatly have motivation to start building my business! I can imagine a place like that is hard to leave! I hope everything is going to be turning around for you guys... Thank you all for being so sweet! Maybe I should just convert to an OR nestie now lol.
