  • I usually do it all, but within our family, I take care of the traditional American fare, especially the turkey... while my mom takes care of the ethnic food. We usually do both traditional American and Filipino dishes.
  • Kentucky bourbon yams with marshmallows

And something decent for breakfast (we stay over, and breakfast selections are awful)

  • I'm the only one who can cook a crescent roll in the whole family without burning it.  I'm also in charge of the hashbrown casserole and greenbean casserole.
  • Same here- I really just make it for myself because not many ppl in my family like it but XH's family made it every year and I missed it.  I also take a pumpkin roll for dessert.

ETA:  Oops- I thought I had quoted the PP about the green bean casserole.

  • The family cannot have thanksgiving without my stuffin'.

  • Mine is pumpkin pie bites. Vanilla wafer in the bottom of a mini cupcake holder with pie filling on top!
  • I'm always in charge of mashed potatoes.  My parents buy the ingredients, but I have to make it.

Two sticks of butter and a 1/2 pint of heavy cream while mashing.

Then more butter on top in the serving bowl.

    Perfection.

  • I make breakfast for my immediate family so I usually only take rolls or a dessert to dinner at my SIL's parent's house.

  • Sweet Potato Casserole for the IL's
  • My mom doesn't typically let me bring anything for dinner so I always make homemade chocolate pies for dessert at my parents and DH's family.
