Who is making/baking/etc holiday gifts?
1. Tell us about the one you are the most proud of!
2. Are you learning anything new this year?
For me:
1. I am knitting DH a hat and I am going to learn how to knit cables. So I am proud of myself (in advance LOL) for that. Hopefully it works out!
2. I expanded my canning abilities this summer, so people will be getting some fancy new canned goods. Like jalepeno jelly, yum!

Homemade Kahula....but it's something I made before.
I also have flavored popcorn recipes. Last year's favorite was the white chocolate, so that will reappear.

Not sure since I baking in large batches so lots of cookies, bars, breads, etc.
2. Are you learning anything new this year?
I started learning about canning this year. Sadly, I didn't get canning early enough to make some homemade jams to give as gifts. I may be able to squeeze in some before the holidays though.
I'm making my mom a rag quilt with this fabric.
Now I'm just waiting for it to arrive!
I am going to do as much handmade/food gifts as possible this year.
I am doing a watercolor of my parents home, making a few sewing items.
Yes! I am learning how to sew, and how to make apple butter!
1. This year I am making necklaces, bracelets, and earrings for the women in my family.I am also making gift baskets for DHs family and some of our friends that will include mixes, cookies, bars, etc.
2. This will be the first year I have made jewelry. I am also making beaded ornaments as tie-ons.
Well
1. This year i'm making Drew a book online then i'm also making goodie bags for everyone to go with a small gift.. It will have homemade goodies such as peppermint bark, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate dipped long pretzels and peppermint sticks, and popcorn balls. I'm also making stockings for Drew and I. Also the two ladies i take care of. I'm also making 2 fleece quilts and 4 fleece quilted pillows for Drew;s grandmothers
2. I'm trying homemade stockings and new recipes.
