What is your holiday color scheme?

I was thinking of going gold and brown. I thought it would go well with our sage walls. I saw the scheme in Gordon's and found it very pretty. I wanted to know what everyone else was doing?

Green and red, lol.

I don't have the time/energy/money to have a theme.  Since the rest of our house isn't really properly decorated, our hodge-podge xmas decorations don't really ruin the look. Plus the years of ugly child-made decorations are upon us so why even bother!

Ours is mainly red and green. My upstairs tree is strictly special ornaments but they are all multi-colors. DHs tree is manly themed - sports, tools, team spirit, alcohol . The accents in the house are blue for the holiday season to represent winter.

Pretty much green and a deep red.  I am willing to try themes for every holiday except Christmas.  Here, I am traditional as possible!

 I know alot will be nightmare before Christmas because the hubby thinks if we do that we can decorate in October and keep it up until Jan hahaha

We have a purple(all shades), black and silver tree.  While on our HM, we bought some beautiful ornaments for a Disney tree, but that won't happen for a couple more years.  Once we have more ornaments we'll switch to the Disney every other year.

I have a tiny silver tinsel tree with turquoise and green balls.  May see if they have a gold tinsel tree this year and will use the same balls.  Go Pier 1!

We had our first tree last year (our first Christmas) and our whole theme is white, red and silver with a snowman/snowflake theme. I bought everything the day after Christmas 07 to use Christmas 08.

We will keep the same tree for the next several years - I spend too much around Christmas time as it is.

Last year I got some hand me downs from my mom that was blues and silver.  I will probably use them again and then hit up the after Christmas sales for burgundy and gold stuff.
