Yep, I feel the same. Yesterday was a beautiful fall day, but today is just bringing me down.

I had this last winter. In 2007-2008 I had wedding planning, but after the wedding (in 9/08) I was so bored. I hate being cold and there aren't many winter sports I enjoy.

This year I'm looking forward to decorating our new house and getting it up and running. I also hope to get back into looking for new recipes and giving them a try.

Some days they really get to me like you're saying, and other days (like today) when I have to write and read its almost more helpful.  It keeps me inside and working so I'm not distracted or tempted to go out and about.  But then other times, it makes me want to crawl into bed, and then whether is rainy or sunny there's always Nesting to distract me, so I'm back at square one!

Ditto everyone! I have a hard time getting the dog to go out in the rain... it's hard to rationalize with him that it's not really negotiable!

SAD (seasonal affective d/o) is crummy -- I love the winter but cannot tolerate cloudy, overcast days. Blah.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I love winter, but I actually don't mind snowy days too much because at least the white snow reflects light and makes things brighter.  But like you, cloudy, gray, rainy days totally bum me out.

Yes.  Cold weather makes me so miserable... I can hardly function.  Ugh.
