Shhhhh...Our TLC Audition Tape
Soooo we were contacted through our agent to audition for a show on TLC called my first home.
We went through the interview process and they loved us and asked us to submit a video of us talking about what we want in a house (As if we hadnt bought our house yet)

So how does this work? Since you're already in the house, would you have to "pretend" to look again? You guys have made such a transformation out of the home you bought, it would have been cool if they could have captured all of that right when you purchased!

Yeah, jaye I dont know how its all going to work out. They know that we already bought, so we will have to recreate and go out and look at houses again. When it comes down to "picking" our house I have no clue whats going to happen. If they say we need to pack everything up and move it out of the hosue I will tell them to either 1. Take a flying leap OR 2. they pay for packers/movers.

I used to watch those shows all the time when we were house hunting. I wonder how common it is for the buyers to already have their home when they shoot it.
Random: does anybody else subconsciously imagine/'hear' what peoples' voices might sound like on the nest? Like, when you read a post, you imagine a person's voice? Well your voice sounds totally different than I thought it would!

Julie--I totally do! Before we had gtg's I'd be walking around town envisioning the people I saw as the peeps on the knot/nest. I feel like I know everyone super well. Occasionally, I'll think about posting something super personal, but then I remember it is still a Public forum and I chicken out.

I do the same thing. Sometimes I even type something up, but then I think "What if my boss read this? Or my MIL?" and I'll delete.
I think your voice sounds a little different IRL, but still the same. I like your voice!
But I totally know what you mean, I think I sound like a kid when I hear myself talk through recordings.
First of all, its the first time I've HEARD your voice!! I think you sound great!
