Timing of Evite for Holiday Party

We have a Holiday Kick-Off Party the first weekend in December (so.... the 5th this year) - when do you think the Evite should go out?

Re: Timing of Evite for Holiday Party

  • I would say at least three weeks in advance, if not a month before.  That time of year gets so busy and if you want a good turn out, you need to notify people well in advance. HTH!!

  • I agree -- 3 weeks to a month.

Anything more than a month is too early, even if you're trying to claim the day for your party, it's a pain to get an invite 2 months before the event and then get a reminder sent too.

  • I agree with pps - 3-4 weeks should be good.

  • do you feel comfortable sending a save-the-date informal email?  weekends fill up fast this time of year...just a thought.
