My husband and I are doing a couples thing.  I am going to be the  "Honey Ale Beer Girl" and his is the German/Bavarian guy that matches.  I think it will be cute. 

 Three years ago we were Fred and Wilma, not so original, but it was super cute.

I am not going to be anything specific this year because we are going to a big masquerade ball. I'm still on the hunt for a ball gown and I have an awesome mask.

Last year DH and I were Miley Cyrus/Billy Ray Cyrus, and I also really liked 2 years ago when I was Jem (from the 80s cartoon).

We are being Johnny Cash and June Carter.  We will be in NYC, so it should be a blast. 

I was medusa one year, that was a lot of fun to put together...

I'm going to be some form of produce -- probably a banana or apple. Lame but I'm a dietitian and apparently everyone is dressing up on the 30th at work, so it has to be work-appropriate.

Sadly, we aren't dressing up this year.  I have to work on Saturday and haven't been invited to any Friday parties.

Last year, we went as a Geisha and Sumo Wrestler.  I loved it and would totally recycle the costume there year if we get any last minute invites...

I have no idea! We have a party both nights.

I was thinking maybe Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. Or Batman & Robin (with him as Robin).

We have a party on the 31st, but the hubs is bartending that night at the Arragon, Bob Dylan is playing for 3 nights and that's $ we can not pass up with him being laid off! I might take the dog to the party and dress her up as the cookie monster.

We were the SNL cheerleaders last year, it was cold in that skirt!

I'm being a painting. Yes, it's super awkward and I've already been made fun of excessively by my friends. I saw a dress that looked like it was inspired by this Piet Mondrian painting:

 

So I bought the dress and a big gaudy frame to hang around my neck so the dress looks like the picture. Apparently this wasn't such a good idea because I'm going to have a hard time explaining it all night! Oh well. If anybody can recognize my costume they'll be my new best friend.

DH is being Rocky Balboa in the grey sweat suit.

We are dressing up as two completely unrelated people:

I'm being Rainbow Brite, and my husband is being one of the bullies in Karate Kid who dressed up in skeleton costumes. We aren't even going to a party or anything, but I LOVE Halloween, so it's fun to go all out for it. : )

I am so not creative when it comes to costumes.  I think I'm going to be Tinkerbell.  DH is leaning towards a doctor.  Who knows though, I tend to procrastinate so I might end up being a flapper because I already have that costume.

There are 5 of us going to Vegas for Halloween. We are going as the Gilligan's Island Crew minus the Howells. I am looking forward to it!

We are not sure what we are dressing up as this year.  First we thought DH would be batman and I would be Robin, but all the Batman costumes he's tried are cheap looking and just don't fit right.  So that's out. Now we are trying to go as Ditka  (DH) and a Bears player (me) --but the stupid Ditka sweaters are hard to find for under $200 so I think we're back to square one!

Two years ago we were Dorothy and the wizard (the rest of our friends we characters from the wizard of OZ)

Last year we were vampires.  Totally before I got into the whole twilight craze too!

I'm excited because I actually have holloween off this year, and my husband and I are throwing a party.

I'm gonna be a 'black bat.'  -The dress is cute, that's the main reason I went with it. lol.
