It weaves together poetry, journal entries, lists and thoughts, to tell the story of a young woman who married too soon, and her family as her grandparents' health decline (alzheimer's and plain old age).
It took me a while to get into the format, but I couldn't put the book down, I finished it in 2 sittings. ?Really powerful imagery and emotions. ?It's definitely one of the best 3 books I've read so far this year (with Barney's Version and Me Talk Pretty One Day-which I loved mainly for the rooster thing).?
And, I'm only at 22/50 aye. ?
